Yemen and Afghanistan a Forgotten part of the World!

Any one seeing the news a few nights ago would have seen Lyce Doucet and Jeremy Bowan talking about Yemen. One is aware that this has been hardly been mentioned by the people that are news reporting.

Meanwhile Josh Lederman writes yesterday that Donald Trump has done an U Turn on Afghanistan, but this is an area which is tribal based, and is not easily ruled. In fact the Russians have failed as have the US, and I saw in Phoenix last night Donald Trump was speaking about the fact there was misreprsentation in the printing of this article.

Donald Trump faces many of the same challenges that have faced previous presidents. Now The Taliban is resurgent and the Afghan forces are too weak without US help. The nation is Tribal led and this could be the reason that the Russians and US was not able to overcome the area.
He said at the weekend with the Afghan government and others, that he laves the door open for an eventual peace deal with the Taliban. Some day it will be possible to have a peace settlement that includes the elements of the Taliban.

What happened to those girls?

A week ago on the World Service Ludovica Laccino from The International Business Times wrote that the Nigerian president would take a fresh look at the kidnapping of those 219 girls from that evening class in Chibok in April 2014. There had been a demonstration in Abuja by the parents who said Bring Back our Girls! Boko Haram have been reduced to an area around Lake Chad; he now says that securing these girls will be his priority!
We wait with bated breath to see what happens!
Now we see new developments as a single girl was found from that same group, she had just had a baby. Why did Boko Haram release this girl for what purpose? The other parents must have hope that their own daughters will be found.
Again we wait with bated breath.

Afghanistan a peaceful protest.

On Sunday 22nd March, there was an altercation between a lady called Fathunda and a male "Soothsayer" outside the temple charging visitors for these remedies. There seemed to be an argument between these two individuals and trouble ensued, the lady was chased behind the temple and others were encouraged by the men in the group to stone and jump on the face of the lady until she was dead. A horrific thing to happen just behind a temple where you would think this should be an area of peace and tranquility.
